Biography

I am now and will forever be an artist. I have been writing, drawing, and making music ever since I was a wee lad in elementary school. Yet, it was a bit of a journey to arrive at writing and English as my career.
I wrote a novella at a very young age while my brain was still developing. At that time, I sent the novella to an agent who wrote a scathing response which hampered my desire to share my writing with anyone. The developing years, bullying, and concussions imprinted the agent’s advice on my brain. I continued to write novellas, but I would not share them.
When the time for college arrived, I followed the advice of the agent and stayed away from literature. As an idealist who believes the world can be changed into something better, I ended up pursuing Political Science.
When I received my degree at BYU–Hawai’i, it did not feel right. I decided to pursue Architecture and that did not feel right either. It was at this time that I finished writing the first draft of not a novella, but a novel. This was my wake up call. I am a writer. I need to pursue English. I applied to the English program at Arizona State University and I was accepted.
I continued and continue to do well in my pursuit of becoming a master of English. I am inspired to pursue a doctorate and become even more of an expert. I know that my way of changing the world is not through a government building, but through the pen. For the pen is truly what will make the world a better place. It has ended wars. It has changed hearts. It has inspired billions. I will do the same with my pen.
