I have been storytelling and poeticizing ever since I was a wee lad in elementary school. I love to create beauty, tell stories, and build worlds with my pen. I have written novellas, screenplays, youtube videos, poems, lyrics, and more.

Despite my obvious fascination, I had treated writing more like a hobby. That is until I finished writing my first novel (not novella) about three years ago. That success helped me realize that the writing of, research of, and teaching of English is my calling. Writing the novel felt like a ticket for my mind to accept that this is the direction to follow.

At that time, I had dabbled in Architecture graduate programs and received my undergraduate degree in Political Science. With this realization, I changed course and applied to the English Master's program at ASU. I will be graduating in December 2025.

My time at ASU has helped improve my skills as an exceptional student. I am incredibly punctual, grammatically correct, and I methodically follow rubrics and advice from peers. I can write more eloquently for scholars and more straightforward for the public.

ASU taught me to love research. I love to scour articles and find the answer to my hypothesis whether it is right or wrong. You can find some of my best research essays on the Academic Highlights tab. You can also go to the Nonacademic Highlights tab and see some of my successes outside of the university.

I had already wanted to be a professor of some sort before beginning the program. I began substitute teaching in 2016 to improve my classroom leadership skills and continued to do so in 2025.

The mentorship of the incredible professors at ASU helped cement the dream of professorship and inspired me to be a professor of language. They showed me the value of humanities and its immense influence. They showed me how to be a proper researcher and proper teacher. They even instructed me on how to be a more ethical person. I am now applying to doctoral programs to follow their example and my aim is to become a better scholar like them.

In five years time, this biography will be a little different. It will highlight my academic career as a researcher and professor. It will showcase published articles and fiction works. Someday you will see my name in print.
